abstract: Filiation is the legal bond that unites a child with its parent, but the characterization of the ‘parent’ can be a source of discordance, especially in the light of scientific and social developments. In an age characterized by medical prowess, the questioning of the hierarchy of family models and the pluralization of families, the relevance of the foundations of filiation is called into question.
