Abstract
Questa intervista è stata parte di una tesi sul ruolo delle donne nella creazione di una nuova idea di Europa. L’attenzione si concentra su alcune figure femminili che, proprio a causa del loro ruolo ancillare, sono finite nell’oblio o quantomeno in secondo piano nonostante il loro grande valore e il loro incisivo contributo. L’intervista è a Marita Rampazi, donna di grande cultura e con una carriera di successo tra i federalisti europei, considerati i numerosi incarichi formali ricoperti all’interno del MFE. L’intervista mette in luce le tappe fondamentali della sua carriera, il suo denso contributo al Movimento e il suo ruolo di donna. La prospettiva è piena di speranza e fornisce un quadro utile a chiarire quel periodo e processo storico, a cui spesso erroneamente si fa riferimento solo in termini maschili.

This interview was part of a thesis on the women’s role within the creation of a new idea of Europe. The focus is on certain female figures whose, precisely due to their ancillary role, have gone into oblivion or at least sided in the background notwithstanding their great value and incisive contribution. The interview is with Marita Rampazi, a woman of great culture and with a successful career among the European federalists, considering the numerous formal positions held within the MFE. The interview highlights the milestones of her career, her dense contribution to the Movement and her role as a woman. The perspective is greatly hopeful and provides a more enlightening picture of that historical period and process, which is often mistakenly referred to only in male terms.
